Hike Bay Area is dedicated to R.N. because without you I would never have rekindled my love of the outdoors and exploring the amazing place I live in.
Hike Bay Area is a casual hike and amateur photo blog showcasing the natural wonders of the San Francisco Bay Area. The focus of this website will be the East Bay, as that’s where I live, but this doesn’t mean the rest of the Bay Area is going to be neglected.
What this website won’t be is an excuse to plaster selfies with inconsequential backgrounds, as well it won’t be for extreme backpackers, tough mudder maniacs, or cross-fit disciples. In an American where narcissism seemingly drives everything; this blog will instead be actually about experiencing and enjoying whats around you– not what it can do for you.
